The Board of Trustees

The Board of Trustees at Turner Public Library is a group of between seven and twelve people who are responsible for the library’s wellbeing, their duties including library policy, finance, employee relations, community relations and long range planning. They are elected by vote each year at the library’s annual general meeting.

 

Within the Board of Trustees there are four officers, President, Vice-President, Secretary and Treasurer. The officers as of August 2019 are as stands:

 

President: Anthony Shostak

Vice President: Amanda Peralta

Secretary: Katreana Youland

Treasurer: Jenny Maheu

 

The Board of Trustees meets on the first Tuesday of the month excepting January, July and September. All meetings are open to the public. The Annual General Meeting for all library corporators and trustees is held the first Wednesday in August.
