Each year in January we kick off “I Love this Book!” – a popular activity that lasts throughout the winter months. Here’s how it works: When you walk into the library, the first display you see will be full of books that readers like you have read and enjoyed – recently or years ago. So – does your taste run to Anne Rice or Ann Patchett? John Grisham or John LeCarre? Or is your idea of perfect winter reading a stack of lavishly illustrated gardening books? In any case, you will find something to tempt you.
We have placed a bookmark in each of our favorites, and hope you will check some out (literally) and, just as importantly, add your own book and bookmark to the stack. If you would like to add a favorite to the display, and we hope you will, just pick a book or two from the library collection, fill out a bookmark, and put it in the display for others to discover. The comments may be as brief as you wish, and you may sign your name or not. Audiobooks are fine too. There is no limit to the number of books you may add, and of course you may check out books without adding any of your own.
We find new favorites each year – and we think you will too!
