Looking for Garden Tools?

The idea came from a blurb in Martha Stewart LIVING about a library with a garden tool section. We liked it, and took a proposal to Jeff Timberlake at the True Value Hardware Store in the Northland Mall. He walked us right to his garden tool section and generously donated all the implements we thought you, as patrons, might like to borrow.

When you drop by the library, stop and look over the display. You will find some excellent garden magazines (free for the taking) and books (for loan), as well as one or more tools that could meet a need sometime during the summer or fall. To check them out, just place what you want in the green Turner Public Library tote bag, and go to the desk with your card. They will check out the same as books.
